The object of Roulette is to lose less than you would normally. Think about it. There is no real system, strategy or method to playing this game. If you want to risk more money, but do not like to pay for higher stakes, all you need to do is just get a lower house edge.
On the American wheel, you will find a five-number bet (zero, double-zero, one, two & three) with the house edge at a very high 7.89% which is a bad bet, unless you truly have a vision about one of those numbers.
In other words, don't bet on it unless your feelings are strong. If you must do it, then bet it straight up or street or split bet. In this way, you will cut the house edge by 2% plus, which will return somewhere between two and six times more than you would get with a five-number bet.
